An Impala with a 409 is such a legend that you instantly hear Beach Boys lyrics the moment someone tells you about the big V8 under the hood. But we love these coupes for so much more. They represented fast with class as the ’63 had a full-size look and a formal hardtop roofline. The black paint was an upgrade later in life.
